As a part of the Red Cross’ Home Fire Preparedness Campaign Troy, NY residents will have the opportunity to receive a free smoke detector.
Residents are encouraged to contact the Red Cross prior to 9/1 to request their smoke detector and request an install. After the program launch on 9/12, Red Cross volunteers and local partners will install smoke detectors throughout the county and provide other fire safety materials and information.
