Recall: Tainted Spinach Found in Frozen food maker Amy’s Kitchen’s Products

Tainted Spinach has been found in a long list of Amy’s Kitchen products posing possible health risks and causing a voluntary recall.

Amy’s Kitchen, based in California is pulling around 73,897 cases of their products after a spinach supplier notified them of finding an organism, Listeria monocytogenes, in their deliveries.

Listeria can pose serious health risks to young children, the frail or elderly and people suffering with malfunctioning immune systems.

Products included in the recall are Spinach Pizza, Enchilada Verde Whole Meal, Brown Rice and Vegetables Bowl, Vegetable Lasagna, Tofu Vegetable Lasagna, Tofu Scramble, Stuffed Pasta Shells Bowl, Garden Vegetable Lasagna, the Gluten Free Tofu Scramble Breakfast Wrap in addition to all of the gluten-free versions of these products.
