A 66-year-old Rabbi died after being hit by a car earlier this month. The incident took place on Empire Boulevard and Balfour Place in Crown Heights.
According to authorities, the man was standing behind a car, when the car began to back up. The blow knocked him to the ground. The car pulled forward, and backed up again, pinning the man under the passenger side tire.
The man was pronounced dead at Kings County Hospital.
