Sen. Chuck Schumer has asked for a federal probe to look into Lumber Liquidators over the safety of their Chinese-made wood laminate flooring.
A new “60 Minutes” report found that the flooring made in China and sold by the home improvement chain contained dangerously high levels of the carcinogen formaldehyde.
Schumer (D-N.Y.) is asking for the Consumer Product Safety Commission to launch an investigation to test the flooring and have it be recalled if the reports claims are true
