Negligent Building Owners Held Accountable, $1.7 Million Dollar Settlement

Our 61-year-old client was walking her dog outside of a Manhattan apartment complex when she stepped onto broken concrete and fell to the ground. At the time of the fall our client was in sensible walking shoes and was aware of her surroundings. Although she had taken preventative measures to stay safe, sadly the apartment complex’s neglect resulted in life-altering injuries. She suffered a fractured leg and ankle that required surgery with hardware.  Attorneys Elyssa Fried-De Rosa and Michael Feldman held the building owners accountable and settled the case for $1.7 million dollars.
